The Outskirts tours take us well away from the city center to the outlying districts of Prague either via local train or city transit. The walk is easy and take no more than 2 hours at a very gentle pace with stops for photos and snacks. The destination is a fantastic craft brewery for lunch and a sampling of beers.
Beyond the Suburbs involve a trip by city transit or train (30 - 40 minutes) to a village well beyond Prague city limits. It starts with some refreshments followed by a longer hike (easy to moderate 10 km) to a craft brewery for a full meal and beer tasting. We might even pass by a castle or unique historical site on route!
The Great Yonder takes you further from Prague to explore the outdoors that Czechs love so much. There is more vigorous exercise involved, with hikes from 5 - 10 km through stunning natural landscapes, but always rewarded with brews and views. Depending on the location, it may be a craft brewery, a countryside inn or a classic Czech railway pub - an experience all on its own! Classic snacks and water for the trail will be provided.

No more than 6, and ideally they will all be in your own private group. To ensure you have the best experience, we will consult you before we combine any separate bookings. We welcome everybody, so even guests travelling solo are invited to request a curated tour, and depending on availability may be added to another group, provided everybody is happy with that.

Czech cuisine is does not rank high in terms of health benefits. It’s all about pork, potatoes, cabbage and beer :-D That being said, we have caught on to trends in recent years and most places offer at least a vegetarian option (beyond fried cheese and potatoes). In most venues we visit, you will be choosing your own meal, and menus are clearly marked for allergens. However, the tours are not suitable for vegans. Non-alcoholic beverages are always available.

We are still working on setting up an online payment system. Until then, we ask that you pay at the beginning of the tour in cash (USD, EUR or CZK accepted) or via the Revolut app. Thank you!

The walks and hikes are all easy to moderate, but make sure you have good, comfortable footwear that you feel secure walking in even on rougher terrain.
Take account of the weather and dress appropriately, including sunscreen and hats! It may also be a good idea to bring some tissues or hand sanitizer, but the guide always has a supply of these as well.
We provide a 700 ml bottle of water for every guest, and a supply of typically Czech snacks to keep your energy up. If a full pub meal isn’t included (namely on the Railway Pub Hike), a classic Czech hiking lunch will also be provided (consulted beforehand). Feel free to bring your own preferred drinks or snacks, but rest assured you will not go hungry (or thirsty)!
Some extra money for anything not included (souvenirs, tips, etc.)
